Day 11: Dogs

Becca: A dog is happiest if they’re, like, relaxed and calm and know you’re in
control. But if they’re being aggressive or fearful or hyper, it’s because they can’t
handle themselves and they need someone to lead them and show them, “This is
how I want you to behave.” Otherwise, they get confused.
Vanessa: They need somebody to be in control.

Vocabulary:

To handle yourself: to manage yourself; to be calm
To get confused: to be unsure or uncertain
