Day 10: Adjustments

Becca: We were teasing people, because people thought it was a big deal that we
were first married and then moving to a new country together.
Vanessa: Oh yeah.
Becca: Because that’s a lot of adjustments to make and we teased people before
we left, “And we’re getting a dog.” Then we actually did.

Vocabulary:
To tease someone: usually this is a slightly negative thing because you are
annoying someone; but in this sentence, it’s used in a friendly way
A big deal: something that is important
Actually: in reality
