Vanessa: May 15th?
Kasey: I mean like it didn’t, it didn’t, like, land on the ground or it melted as it
landed but…
Vanessa: It was below freezing.
Kasey: It was coming down, yes.

To be hit or miss: [idiom] it could be good or it could be bad; uncertain
To be below freezing: the weather is below 0 degrees Celsius
To be coming down: to be falling from the sky; we can use this to emphasize that
there is a lot of snow falling, for example: It’s really coming down.
