Day 14: Conversations

Dan: I remember plenty of dinner conversations where people have left the table
in a fit of rage.
Ben: But, again, like we didn’t, like, shy away from those topics. We went right
after them.
Vanessa: Yeah.

Vocabulary:
A fit of rage: completely angry; probably yelling and screaming
To shy away from something: to not want to talk about or do something
To go after something: the opposite of “to shy away from”; to want to do or talk
about something
