Day 4: Homeschool

Dan: So, my brother is a little bit, he was very energetic as a child and kind of weird as well. So when he went to first grade, him and the teacher didn’t get along very well. So my mom decided to pull him out of school and try over the summer homeschooling, and so it wasn’t a planned out thing. It was just, well, let’s try this for a couple of months and see how we like it.

Vocabulary:

As well: too; it’s used less often than “too” To pull out of something: to quit or leave

To plan out something: this phrasal verb is the exact same as “to plan,” native speakers sometimes choose to use phrasal verbs instead
