Day 16: Connection

Charisse: It’s maybe harder to find a job, but if you know people… For me, I guess
you could say I got in through a connection I had at the agency I work at, an
advertising agency. So I knew somebody there. However I went through the whole
interview process, and I got the job.

To go through: this expression has several meanings, but in this sentence it means
“to experience something”
